Let's all pray for Ingrid and for the parents of the students. A way will be provided as our faith is united.
As for actual missionary work this week we did pretty awesome as well! There is a girl named Cierra that we are going to baptize this upcoming Saturday, who I think I mentioned in my last email (she is 10). On top of which we just started to teach this 31 year old named Ryan who goes to one of our singles wards who we just met yesterday and we planned his baptism for this next Saturday as well! So we are seeing success! It has been awesome! Because a lot of our investigators are kids/foreign exchange students who want to be baptized but their parents won’t let them be baptized for whatever reason. We have about 5-8 kids right now who we have been teaching regularly who are in this situation. I believe that some of the parents are going to come around soon but there are still quite a few parents that it's going to take a while longer to soften their hearts.
Our investigators are doing great. The one who I have been praying for the most lately is Ingrid Ivin’s. She is such a great lady! She is the one with the son on his mission in North Carolina and she grew up southern Baptist. She goes to the Mormon Church with her husband once a month and the thing is that she knows Joseph Smith was a prophet and she knows that Thomas S Monson is the Current prophet. She understands that her Baptism might not have been performed under the correct priesthood Authority. She knows the Book of Mormon is true scripture and she reads the assignments out of it that we give her. She basically knows about and believes all of the LDS doctrine, but she just hasn’t received an answer to her prayers of whether she needs to be baptized again or not. Its just been tough teaching because she already knows everything we have to teach. She knows and recognizes the spirit when we come over, but I guess we just have to be more clear on the eternal happiness that lies ahead of her decision to be baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. But yeah just thought I would share...

Utah Provo Mission Map
From Wyomings boarder to the four corners and into Colorado and Arizona there is work to do.
A little history of the UTAH, PROVO MISSION
In the late 1970's there was only one mission in Utah. As the work grew the mission was divided into areas to cover the North and South of the state. On January 1, 1989 the Utah, Provo mission was formed from a division of the Salt Lake City North and South missions. President Magnusson was called to open the mission. Today President Neil Pitts serves as President.
The area the mission currently covers was for the most part in the former Utah, Salt Lake City South Mission. During the time President Humphreys lead the mission, it was expanded to include Blanding, Monticello and Montezuma Creek. At this point the mission area took in all of Utah south of the Uintah Mountians.
With the creation of the Utah Salt Lake City South Mission the northern area of the mission was altered slightly. In addition Panaca and Mesquite Nevada were moved to the Nevada, Las Vegas Mission.
On July 1, 2010 the Utah Provo Mission was divided again. In this split the Utah, St George Mission was created. There are a large number on non-members that live in the St. George area and more are moving in. As you can see from the map below the Utah, Provo Mission will cover a realtively small area but there will still be much work to do.
